How To Subscribe

Like public television or radio, the major source of funding for a site like this is you–the user.  Many members who appreciate the resources being offered on the Flute Portal have contacted me about wanting to help, and some have offered donations to help with the expenses of building and maintaining the site.  Rather than take donations, I wanted to provide something in return for their support, so the voluntary subscription concept was adopted.

So what does a subscription to the Flute Portal provide?  Well, that depends upon the subscription package you choose, but one thing they all have in common is automatic entry into the Flute Portals monthly prize drawing!  Every month, the Flute Portal will give away something special: Custom flutes of all kinds, accessories, music, etc., and this drawing is exclusive to subscribers.

The higher the level of your subscription, the more times your name is entered in the monthly prize drawing.

Some of the packages also include a monthly e-mail newsletter that is your ticket to great deals with participating merchants.  Every month, the newsletter will feature a special offering from flute makers, accessory makers, musicians, etc. that is only available to members who receive the newsletter.  The newsletter will contain a link that leads to these special deals, and participating merchants will only make them available to members whose name is on the appropriate subscribers list.

Subscriptions are handled through PayPal, so you will need to have a PayPal account (you will be given an opportunity to create one when you press the subscribe button), and they will automatically renew every month (or every year, depending upon which option you take).  However, the member can unsubscribe at any time they choose. For members who want to purchase a yearly subscription, you have the option of paying by check or money order.
