Butch Hall Anasazi flute

2009 May 7

Just got my new Butch Hall Anasazi flute. Nice. Smaller bore, straight finger holes, Bb. Modeled after the artifacts, this has no notch and requires a very tight embouchure. I’ll post more in the next few weeks once I’ve lived with it a bit.

Hello Scott, I am anticipating the arrival of Geoffrey’s “Scott August series Anasazi”; I am so very excited. I spoke to him on Tuesday and he indicated it would be in the mail on Wednesday. Goodness I hope this child like wonder never changes in me. I love my new life. Well, I don’t want to waste your time, I just stopped by to share my excitement with someone who would understand and my hope is you are doing well and are in good spirits. Peace to you Scott always, Just Pat (vtxrider3@msn.com)

OH MY GOODNESS!! I promise I won’t bombard you with never ending comments but I just HAVE to tell someone how wonderful the 2009 SCOTT AUGUST Series Flute is, so why not tell Scott August?!? :) Scott, your friend Geoffrey is truly a wonderful person, business man, and spirit. As soon as I made the decision to purchase a Scott August Anasazi flute my little Cholestrol caked heart almost exploded with anticipation. I emailed Geoffrey about a hundred times when he finally had to ask me to keep the email to a minimum because his bird cage was already full :) . Just joshin…but I was most definitely excited. I purchased your CDs from ITunes, bought an inexpensive Anasazi from Mark Purtill, and started practicing. Well, my GOD it paid off. Because that beautiful flute was handed to me and I ripped open the box, got a few paper cuts (but nothing too serious), then immediately started singing with the flute. Then I placed the flute to my lips and was able to create a few squakes :D . Today I woke up and that beautiful flute sang a song for me that I just didn’t want to stop. I had to go to work…what a drag. Well I’m hoping Geoffrey is bombarded with orders because, this flute is worth the effort and most beautiful. I’ll go back to my corner now and think about going home tonight to play. Peace Scott. I hope you are well. Sincerely, Just Pat (vtxrider3@msn.com)
